Describing the Murchison Wide-field Array to the artists from Yamatji Arts, Boolardy station, Western Australia, 26th March 2009. The cultural exchange between astronomers and indigenous artists was the basis for Ilgarijiri, an exhibition of astronomically-themed aboriginal art created as part of the indigenous astronomy work package of the IYA in Australia.

Leaning in the direction of the flow.
At one of the central deep, deep waterholes along the Innukulen cataract. These deep pools held fish and I think would be almost permanent water. Just above was the aboriginal art.

In July 2011, 80 students participated in the Summer Institute for Teens at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver BC. Students created work in 9 different studio areas: Drawing, Painting, Illustration, Textile Forms, Ceramics, Aboriginal Arts, Digital Photography, Graphic Design, and Graphic Novel.
